In addition to this, the Snow Celebration is the real challenge for those sportsmen eager to measure their skills. Within the Celebration, the competitors will participate in funny programs and contests.

Baile Tusnad and their surroundings can be defined by two attributes: unique beauty, and reach fauna & flora. Here are some of the most interestings places to see:

ST. ANA LAKE (LACUL SFANTA ANA)
946 m high, St.Ana Lake is the only Romanian lake which has a volcanic origin. It has an easel shaped form. Almost distilled, the water is considered to be the purest in this world, but, because of its leak in mineral salts, it is not drinkable. ST. Ana Lake is a natural reservation. Down by the lake there is a Roman- Catholic chapel with Saint Ana' s festival. The area, including the Mohos territory, is bound to Baile Tusnad thanks to the existing paths between them.

MOHOS (TINOVUL MOHOS)
Tinovul Mohos lies next to St. Ana Lake. It is a florist reservation with various rare plants dating from the ice era ( for instance: sky's dew -a carnivore plant). 1050 high, the reservation should be explored only with a guide.

FALCONS' ROCK (STÂNCA SOIMILOR)
No tourist travelling across Baile Tusnad can resist admiring the River Olt right side rock. The most famous watching tower offers everyone an astonishing view: Baile Tusnad resort, Ciumatului and Surducului peaks, Ciucas Lake, the entire Olt narrow path. 824 m high, made from andesite, Falcons' Rock seems to be a gray wall among the green pines. One can reach it following the red triangle path which starts in Baile Tusnad.

BRAN CASTLE (CASTELUL BRAN )
The story sais that Bran Castle once belonged to Count Dracula whose spirit still haunts these ancient territories. The castle creates a middle-age atmosphere. Built on a rock next to Turcu Valley, Bran Castle lies in the middle of the Carpathians, at the border between Transylvania and Valahia. Nowadays, Bran Castle is a middle-age museum containing weapons and furniture, hunting trophies.

PELES CASTLE (CASTELUL PELES)
A former royal summer residency, Peles Castle is nowadays only a museum. It has a medieval- Germanic style, built by Romania's first king, Carol the First, sovereign of Hohenzollern, and mainly decorated by his wife, queen Elisabeth. One cannot say they have visited Romania, unless they have seen Peles Castle.

PELISOR CASTLE (CASTELUL PELISOR)
Lying next to Peles Castle, Pelisor Castle is the best way to characterize the former Romanian queen, Maria, taste for refinement. Its exterior embraces the German Renaissance style, the interior the Art Nouveau one. One can still see here Viennese furniture, and Tiffany porcelain.

SIGHISOARA
Sighisoara is an authentic "museum city" that naturally combines the military, civil, and ecclesiastic European architectural styles. It is one of the fewest European fortress cities best preserved in which people are allowed to live. Sighisoara's disposing resembles to the typical German late middle-age city plans. It is the place were Vlad Tepes (Dracula) was born.

TOP HILL CHURCH (BISERICA DIN DEAL)
Top Hill Church is Sighisoara' s most important monument and the forth most valuable Transylvanian gothic church. Both Top Hill Church and Monastery Church (Biserica Manastirii) are Evangelic.

THE WATCH TOWER (TURNUL CU CEAS)
Sighisoara's most visited site is the History Museum, and the Watch Tower within it. Regarded as the city' s symbol, the tower was the place were Sighisoara counsel reunited until 1556. Afterwards, until the late XIX Th century, it was turned into court of law and guard house. Since 1899, the tower has been a history museum in which one can admire various objects dating from the bronze era, Dacian ritual pots, one of the first clocks (made in the late XVI Th century in South-West Germany), and many, many other things. The Watch Tower was made in Switzerland and consists of 7 figurines representing the week's days.

HOMOROD/HAMRUDEN MONASTERY (MANASTIREA HOMOROD)
Made in Roman style, the monastery was built in the XIII Th century and modified between the XV and XVIII Th centuries. It is situated in the middle of Homorod. In the XV Th century it was first fortified with a massive tower. The inner wall is quadrilateral and has corner towers. In the late XVIII Th century the South tower was built. The monastery furniture (altar, pulpit, pews) was made in the same century and it belongs to the rustic Transylvanian baroque style.

HARMAN FORTRESS CHURCH (BISERICA CETATE HARMAN)
Harman Fortress Church is a Roman basilica with West tower, and solid ditch enclosure.
