Crasmarita Inn from Buzau is a pleasant architectural surprise situated by the entrance in the town of Buzau, in Maracineni, at the intersection of two important roads: DN2 and E85. Crasmarita Inn from Buzau lies on the bank of the Buzau River, in a place where postal chariots linking Moldavia to Wallachia used to change horses in the old days. This theme is to be found in a painting placed on the frontispiece of the inn. The inn is built in a prewar Romanian architectural style, according to the latest European standards concerning tourism, with the aid of the SAPARD Program, meant to develop rural tourism. The Inn is rated as a 3 daisy establishment. The building is original, as well as practical, harmoniously mixing the rustic style with the modern one. The inn's name stands for the title of a famous song with the same name, performed by a well known interpreter of folklore songs, Benone Sinulescu, the greatest promoter of the Buzau region. Crasmarita Inn from Buzau, the newest achievement from the Moara Dragaicilor complex, presents itself to its visitors with an absolutely original boarding house, with about 30 places, a traditional restaurant, located in an old mill with a terrace and seating in traditional wagons, 'The Hunters' Hall', 'The Travellers' and Merchants' Hall' with the inn's terrace in the balcony, 'The Boyards' Hall', 'The Royal Wine Cellar', the interior courtyard of the inn, with a terrace under a vine bower, a pavilion with a barbeque, a swimming pool with jacuzzi. Restaurant At the Crasmarita Inn you can savour traditional Romanian dishes with specific names from the region of Buzau, that suggest sites worth visiting: Vulcanii Noroiosi (The Muddy Volcanos), Cocosel de Siriu (Siriu Rooster), Closca cu Puii de Aur (The Hen with the Golden Chicks). The recipes come from the famous old rural Moldavian and Wallachian cuisine. All these menus will exceed your exigences, making it very difficult for you to choose your dishes. A good meal must be accompanied by a good wine, in harmony with the meal. The Crasmarita din Buzau Wine Cellar is the perfect place where you can enjoy an authentic rustic Romanian atmosphere, as well as tasty and flavored collection wines (the famous Pietroasele, Valea Calugareasca and Cotesti wines).
