  The fantastic Pass in Bargaului Mountains wich links Transilvania to Bucovina is a real tourist attraction. Here, in the marvellous region, the hotel inaugurated in 1983, is build in medieval style and it stands upon the boundary between the district Bistrita-Nasaud and Suceava, at 1116 m altitude, near the National Highway nr.17.
  The Castle Hotel Dracula which dominates the landscape is the ideal place for both beautiful and comfort lovers. The Hotel and it's inside court impress with their medieval arhitecture.
  The region has a tonic, stimulating climate and a strong ozonized air, also having the highest our level of iodine in Romania. All the natural factors create a healing environment for asthenic neurosis, overworking, hyperthyroidism and good status recovered.
  Tihuta region, beautiful in the summer and winter time, is a real attraction for the mountain lovers.This paradise of silence and health, offers excelent condition for practicing winter sports.

  The hotel has 140 accommodation places in 3 apartments, 62 rooms for two person, bathrooms, telephone, and TV. Services by request. Turkish bath. Parking lot. The restaurant offers you a lot of wine ranges.

  Spring, summer or autumn, you can visit a lot of interesting places:
  • The ancient roman stone way in Bargaului Mountains, lies parallel with Bistrita-Vatra Dornei highway, five km west from Pasul Bargaului. The roman stone way has 11 km length and 4-5 m width, is made of stone blocks with stone stoppers for slopes (7-8 hours);
  • Magura Calului is on Bistrita-Vatra Dornei highway. Here you can find a wonderful landscape with streches to the mountains Rodna, Suhard, Calimani si Giumalau (4-5 hours);
  • The Piatra Fantanele Stone, gives you a beautiful mountain landscape. The access is very easy (2 hours);
  • Dealul Zimbrului - belvedere (3-4 hours).

      In winter you can use the tracks and the large sky grounds, baby sky, sleighs tracks and voyages with sleighs.
