“The hotel rooms are in need of upgrading. The furniture and beds etc. are old fashioned compared with, for example, the Continental Hotel in Oradea. We strongly suggest that beds with a foot-board are replaced by open divans - I am over 6 feet tall and because the bed had a foot-board I was unable to sleep stretched out. Apart from other small inconveniences (e.g. the bar fridge was not plugged in so all the drinks were warm) the apartment we had was adequately spacious and, above all, the staff were very polite and considerate. The room service and food was excellent.
The buffet breakfast could offer a larger range for those not wanting a cooked breakfast. For example, croissant, cake and fresh fruit. The service was very good and every effort was made to provide fresh tea and coffee as well as freshly cooked omelette which I requested and freshly cooked toast.
As a final note, not only my wife and I were made very welcome but our little dog was made welcome too. This has been our experience in all of the Continental hotels that we have stayed in and we greatly appreciate the policy of acceptance of pets. ”
