The apartments were specifically designed and decorated in order to recreate the location s historical atmosphere. Every decoration was carefully chosen with maximum attention to details. The solid spruce wood furniture, the sandstone, the bronze windows, the floor, every part of the apartment has a subtle antique look that sends you back in time.
Iosefin Residence has taken the name of the area in which it is located as a symbol of the historical buildings from Iosefin Quarter, initially called Maierele Vechi. This was originally designed as a village for the German settlers on both sides of the Bega Canal, having houses with magnificent gardens, used as refuges by the rich people from the fortress. Since his second visit in Banat, 1773, the Emperor Joseph II of Habsburg agreed to let this area wear his name.
